This file lists the meaning of each
error code that 1K Tiny BASIC can produce.

Because error codes are not constant
across 1K Tiny BASIC versions (the error
code number is the address after the call
to 'Error') this list needs to be updated
whenever there is a significant code
change. It is possible that this list
will be out-of-sync with the source code
if I do not have time to update it, but
for all releases it will be up to date.

Error codes as of 5th April 2024:

E68 & E81 - expecting an expression, but expression not found or incomplete.

E137 - expecting TO in FOR statement but TO not found

E173 - expecting left bracket

E237 - attempt to overwrite line. A line must be deleted and reentered.

E302 - missing " at end of string

E440 - missing ) in call to ABS

E443 - missing ) in expression

E444 - missing ) in call to USR

E446 - missing ) in call to RND

E525 - divide by zero

E597 - line number not found in GOTO or GOSUB

E630 - expecting = sign in LET or FOR statement

E657 - syntax error (often caused by misspelt statement), or unexpected token encountered when expecting statement

E677 - RETURN without GOSUB

E750 - expecting variable name, but no variable name found.
